Deeds Not Words!!!
This was an interesting event. It was geared towards being a competition rather than a typical car show. People were competing to see how their vehicle went up and down a driveway. It had never been done before so the judging was not all that clear. I think they judged on angle, scrapage, and style. Angle and style kind of went out the door and after the first few cars it seem to be a WHO could scrap the most contest!
I would think whoever could go up with least amount of angle would get more points because if you drive a lowered car going up a steep driveway you would try to angle a lot just to avoid scraping so therefore less or NO angle should be awarded since this is a competition. If you have the swag to drive a slammed and fitted vehicle straight up a steep driveway without having to angle it and make it without getting stuck you should be on top of the competition. ( just my 0.2 cents )
Scraping is a given fact. If your low, your going to scrap no doubt about it. If your not scraping then you are NOT low!
If you drive a lowered car on a daily basis it should be no problem or no different, you should be used to scraping wherever you go. Some cars i know for a fact do not roll at the height they were at during the competition daily. I do give props to chris from LOW N SLOW crew for winning the competition because he drives his car like that normally. He did NOT have to adjust his suspension just for that day.
