The 2012 Formula Drift season was kicked off this weekend in Long Beach.

Kyle qualified 13th

Odi qualified and also made it in the show.

General admission standing room only. This is the first time I have watched the Top 16 battles in 2 and half years. I am usually at the booth posted up and getting my info from twitter. So it was fun to be just a fan and experience the event.

So in my excitement I didn't take very many photos. I was more happy to see friends that I haven't seen since the end of last season. So this post didn't have much content for the event and I apologize it's more focused on the people that help make drifting what it is.

Kyle and Odi both did a great job and congrats to the crew members that keep them going. After the first round Kyle is in 14th and Odi is in 15th.
